President
Robert Epperly - Midwest City 2011-13.
Robert Epperly is currently serving as Vice-President of OSCO and has served
as a past President. Robert has been teaching special education for the Midwest
City-Del City Public Schools since 1996. He has been the faculty chess sponsor
at Carl Albert High School (MWCCAH) since 1997.
Robert is married to wife Susan and they have two children, Hanna and John.
His hobbies include travel with family, fishing and spending time outdoors.
Robert has experience organizing numerous chess tournaments and has coached
his team to two team state championships and several grade state championships.
Before teaching, Robert served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a
Bioenvironmental Engineering Specialist, after graduating from the USAF School
of Aerospace Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Masters of Education
Degree in Special Education in 199at the University of Central Oklahoma in
Edmond.
