OSCO Grand Prix Standings

There are 470 scholastic chess players with OSCO Grand Prix Points for the 2007-8 season. The Grand Prix Fund is $1384 after all 6 events. Due to the ice storm postponement of the TCC Holiday Open until after the State Championship, the Grand Prix schedule has been reduced from 7 to 6 events. Point totals will be based on two of the non-championship events plus the two championships (players may miss two non-championship events and still be in the running). Participation in the tournaments were as follows:

• 216 players at 29 Sep 07 Claremore Open at Roosa Elementary in Claremore
• 204 players at 20 Oct 07 Rose State Open at Rose State College in Midwest City
• 279 players at 17 Nov 07 Oklahoma Grade Championship at Foster Middle School in Tulsa
• 210 players at 12 Jan 08 Norman New Year Open at Lakeside Church of God in Norman
• 211 players at 2 Feb 08 Jenks Winter Open at Jenks High School
• 264 players at 1 Mar 08 Oklahoma Scholastic Championship at Cheyenne Middle School in Edmond

School team codes have been added to the Grand Prix Standings tables. Email your chess player's name for a username and password to access the cross reference table for school team names versus codes.
