All active Oklahoma scholastic chess clubs may request FREE OSCO Affiliate Membership.
Key Benefits
- Email delivery of the Oklahoma Scholastic Chess Updates which go out about
each month.
- Email notification of upcoming chess tournaments and events.
- An Affiliate Members Area with a select list
of frequently recommended chess reference materials and other
information.
- Featured on the Oklahoma Scholastic Chess Clubs page with active link to
club or school web site.
- The coach or organizer of OSCO member clubs will be included in a
email distribution group that's kept current and available through OSCO's
Webmaster.
- Access to the recent tournament standings charts and game notation with interactive viewing will be
available to affiliate members.
- Clubs that are OSCO affiliates may bid to host the
Oklahoma State Scholastic Chess
Championship Tournament and Grade Championship Tournament, which will alternate yearly between the Oklahoma
City and Tulsa areas.
- Each Affiliate Club Member has one OSCO member vote regarding
OSCO officer elections,
bylaws changes and other items as described in the
bylaws.
Only directly associated representatives (club coach, organizer, etc.) may be the proxy vote for affiliate
club members.
